Silent Silver · creator & author
“People found this world
before it had a book.”
I started sharing Silver Clouds while I was homeless: characters, sketches and places I couldn’t stop imagining. People showed up, asked me to finish the book, and helped fund its first release. Now I’m building what comes next—with the audience that helped it begin.

More about Silent
Silent Silver, creator of the "Animantasy" genre (anime-inspired epic fantasy), is a debut author whose passion for storytelling has been a lifelong source of solace and inspiration. Born and raised in Slough, England, Silent faced significant challenges early in life, including childhood trauma, homelessness, and financial hardship.
Through these difficult experiences, they discovered the transformative power of writing as a means of self-expression, healing, and connection with others. Over the past decade, Silent has poured their heart and soul into crafting The Secrets of Silver Clouds, a novel that explores universal themes of resilience, friendship, and the indomitable strength of the human spirit.
The story that started it
Take London
home with you.
Imagine if urban fantasy and action adventure had a wild night out in London, stumbled into a comic book shop, and emerged with a hangover and superpowers. Nine months later, The Secrets of Silver Clouds was born. An illegitimate love child, raised on a steady diet of manga and British wit.
Ashai never asked to be special. Goaden’s past won’t let him go. And a gang-turned-band may be the only family either of them can trust.

Welcome to a London where the veil between worlds is tissue-thin and magic crackles beneath the surface of everyday life. The Secrets of Silver Clouds is an electrifying urban fantasy that fuses the raw intensity of gangster grit with the breathtaking spectacle of anime-inspired action.
Ashai Bennet never asked to be special. Armed with her celestial pendant Thyia and powers she barely understands, she navigates a treacherous landscape of demons, Duskkin (cyber vampires who blend blood magic with cutting-edge tech) and shadowy government agencies that monitor the supernatural underworld. When an ancient spirit threatens to tear reality itself apart, Ashai finds herself thrust into a conflict that spans dimensions.
Enter Goaden Reeves, a morally grey swordsman wielding the celestial blade Vega, whose mysterious past is as dangerous as his silver flames. Together with the Demon's Legion: a notorious gang-turned-band who channel their magical abilities through music and mayhem—they must race against time to uncover the truth behind Ashai's origins and the legendary Silver Cloud Grimoire.
