Typhon

Summary

Typhon is Shonen Kartia's enormous, three-headed, wolf-like Guardian, his blue, purple and crimson fur threaded with metallic adornments. He stands beside Shonen on the battlefield, but his presence also reaches back to the fear surrounding Shonen's birth and abandonment.

Description

Typhon steps into a ruined street and takes his place beside Shonen, all three heads snarling at the danger before them. Blue, purple and crimson fur glows around intricate metallic adornments. The enormous wolf-like Guardian makes the scale of his master’s power visible. To an enemy, that arrival is a warning.

To Shonen, it belongs to a much older story. Typhon was there at his birth, and the fear surrounding the Guardian helped shape the child’s abandonment. The creature that stands ready to protect him is inseparable from the first wound in his long life.

Background

Typhon is a fearsome three-headed, wolf-like Guardian of celestial origin, born from the star fragments alongside Shonen Kartia and the Holy Item Abythyia. His fur radiates blue, purple and crimson, intertwined with intricate metallic adornments that pulse with arcane energy. His eyes burn with violet starlight that mirrors Abythyia's dark stars. Typhon's terrifying appearance—towering, multi-headed, wreathed in an aura of raw power—was so overwhelming that Shonen was abandoned at birth by those who feared what the guardian represented. Yet despite his monstrous visage, Typhon is fiercely loyal and protective of Shonen, serving not just as a source of power but as a constant companion through centuries of immortality. His presence amplifies Abythyia's emotional harvesting abilities, and in battle, each head can unleash devastating attacks of psychic energy.
