Description
At rest, the Rune Rider is small enough to mistake for a bookmark. A touch wakes its gears; metal shifts, the frame expands, and a vehicle stands where a sliver of machinery was a moment before. Glowing runes turn that transformation into speed.
Ashai rides one towards London with her future still ahead of her. Later, Amy reaches for hers when the people she loves are in danger. It is a piece of everyday technomagic that becomes very important when staying still is no longer an option.
