Chill
Summary
An exiled, wingless ice fairy taken in by Kane Reeves, Chill rides the cloud Cirrus and carries a touch cold enough to kill. His visit to Goaden's hospital room arrives with frost, flirtation and questions about where his loyalties lie.
Description
Frost reaches the door handle before Chill does. Pale blue and crystalline, with white hair tipped in ice, he arrives aboard Cirrus and immediately takes an interest in Ashai. Goaden has to remind him that his touch can kill a human. Chill apologises, retreats on his cloud and resumes the banter.
Kane Reeves took him in after his exile from the Fairy Realm. Gratitude keeps Chill close to the father Goaden distrusts, making every friendly errand carry an uncomfortable question: whose interests is he serving? Even news that Braum has overturned his banishment cannot easily draw him home. He can make light of his difference; revisiting what it cost him is harder.
