Description

In a glade of Wooburn Forest, the mist takes the shape of grazing stags. Pale coats and shifting antlers make them difficult to separate from the air around them. Their quiet lasts even when travellers stop to stare.

Ashai meets their gaze and receives a grave nod before they resume feeding, their bodies slipping towards spirit-like translucence. Among the Onari, such encounters are considered blessings. A Mistwraith does not need to lead a charge to make someone feel they have entered a place older and more watchful than themselves.
