Description

Yukon greets a new colleague by asking to be insulted: he plays better angry. Goaden obliges, and a friendship is off to a promising start. At home among MI6's games and technomagic, and recruited after a creative bank heist, this grey-skinned Onari can change into creatures far beyond his people's usual three forms, though his colour and pointed ears remain stubbornly his own.

That extraordinary gift comes with an ordinary problem: nerves. An infiltration as a fly becomes a scramble through unwanted shapes when a cult ritual goes wrong, leaving Kai to talk him through his breathing. Yukon is also the fan who recognises Reever beneath Goaden's new MI6 life and immediately wants to talk about 'Stars at Night'. Mission briefings, poor decisions and the chance to meet his musical hero all compete for his attention.

Recruited for his exceptional shapeshifting capabilities, Yukon acts as a cultural interpreter and liaison between MI6 and the Onari enclaves. Despite his youth and humour, he carries a quiet authority that even senior agents respect. His position is delicate, balancing the expectations of his ancient tribe with the demands of modern intelligence work, yet he navigates this with surprising maturity.

Personality & Behaviour

Unlike his peace-loving tribe, Yukon often courts trouble with his energetic and somewhat reckless nature. His speech has an unmistakable lilt of youthfulness—energetic and enthusiastic, but with an edge of uncertainty that dances around the ends of his sentences. He's a rapid talker, his sentences punctuated by frequent pauses and a propensity for verbosity when nervous, leaning heavily on words such as "like", "you know", or "um". Once his comfort settles in, however, a distinctive humour peppers his dialogue—he revels in wordplay and his sentences become sprinkled with puns and quips.

Relationship with Ashai

Ashai Bennet regards Yukon as a younger brother, and her protective instincts often put her at odds with MI6 handlers who would push him into dangerous situations. This bond goes both ways—whilst Ashai sees him as family, Yukon looks up to her strength and determination. Together with Goaden Reeves, they form a close-knit group, often spending downtime gaming in virtual reality or simply hanging out.
