Head Captain of The Order

Summary

Shonen Kartia's chief officer in The Order is a katana-wielding commander trained by the immortal himself. When told to watch Ashai, the Head Captain chooses capture instead, letting his curiosity about his master's interest turn obedience into dangerous initiative.

Description

His boot heels break the silence of The Order's polished headquarters. Agents kneel, reports are delivered, and a failed assignment can become fatal before the katana returns to its sheath. The Head Captain's authority is exacting; his certainty is less secure than the people beneath him realise.

Shonen orders Ashai watched. The Head Captain decides she should be captured. He wants to understand why his master is interested in her, and calls his disobedience necessary initiative. Privately trained by Shonen, he favours earned skill over a Holy Item, but proximity to that much power has left him with a dangerous question: when does serving the master's purpose mean defying the master's word?
