Description

Oblivion was a demon before it was a sword. Rivals bound its essence into the forge, leaving rage and consciousness alive inside the metal. The result can cut with devastating power while wearing away the sanity of the person using it.

Jedia carried the blade into his confrontation with Shonen. The recorded battle ends with Shonen taking it from the fallen mage. Winning the weapon does not erase what inhabits it; mastery means continuing to hold a thing built to turn its bearer towards destruction.

Background

Forged in the infernal depths of hell, Oblivion carries a dark legacy intertwined with betrayal and malevolent consciousness. Once, a demon named Oblivion stood as a formidable entity in the demonic hierarchy—powerful, ruthless, feared. Then came the plot.

Origins

Rivals ensnared the demon through arcane rituals, binding its essence into molten metal. Infernal smiths, masters of dark weapon crafting, channelled the demon's rage, power, and despair into the blade's core, creating a weapon imbued not only with physical might but with sentient malevolence. The sword pulses with its own will, whispering destruction and paranoia into the minds of those who dare wield it. Its true curse lies in corruption—the demon's consciousness slowly erodes the sanity of its bearer, filling their thoughts with madness until they become nothing but vessels for its dark desires.

Appearance
