Might

Summary

Might is the pair of military boots that serves as Cliff Henderson's Holy Items, giving him command over the earth. One stamp sends a shock wave across the training ground; the same power can raise barriers and shelter the people behind him.

Description

Might looks like something a soldier would lace up before work. Then Cliff stamps, and a shock wave crosses the training ground towards Ashai. The boots make his stance a source of force, turning the earth beneath a fight into part of the fight itself.

Their power can raise barriers, open fissures or send rocks into the air. It can also shape a refuge for allies. In Cliff’s hands, the distinction between breaking ground and holding it is a decision about who needs protection.

Background

To the untrained eye, they appear as ordinary combat footwear. But when activated, Might emits a soft glow and resonates with incredible energy—a Holy Item forged from the heart of a meteorite that fell during the Celestial Shattering. These boots bond with their wielder's essence, transforming the earth into a weapon, shield, and sanctuary. When Cliff Henderson stomps his feet, the ground obeys. Barriers rise from nothing. Fissures split open beneath enemies. Rocks levitate and hurtle with devastating force. The boots automatically adapt to any surface, providing perfect traction whether on mud, ice, concrete, or sand. Their power is both a gift and a burden—raw force and resilience embodied in footwear that has shaped countless battlefields. Cliff's mastery over these boots parallels his growth as a leader and mentor, teaching him the value of standing firm and the strength found in steadfastness.
